WATCH: Raw Video Shows 7-Year-Old Punching Thief During Robbery at Gamestop

A 7-year-old boy recently stood up to armed robbers at a Gamestop in Maryland, as captured in this raw footage from security cameras.

In the video, the robbers can be seen entering the store, and at first they walk past the young boy. But the child’s father, who had been ordered to get on the floor by the thieves, asked for his son. At that moment, one of the robbers approached the boy, who immediately began fighting back.

“He punched him,” the father said. “Two left hooks while holding the Yoshi doll.”

The robbers left the store with some cash, but no one was harmed, according to The Washington Post. The boy and his family had come to the Gamestop to buy a Yoshi stuffed animal, and for attempting to stand up against the robbers, the Gamestop’s manager gifted the child his Yoshi for free.

The boy’s dad told The Washington Post that his son now carries his Yoshi around the house all the time, as it makes it feel that he is being protected.

Police are still seeking information about the two robbers and are offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who can identify them. Those with information are asked to call 240-773-5070.
