Michigan Election Ballot 2016: Candidates for Each Office

Michigan voters go to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots in races for the state’s U.S. House seats, as well as its state House and Senate seats.

Eight parties have lines on the ballot in Michigan: the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, the U.S. Taxpayers Party, the Libertarian Party, the Green Party, the Natural Law Party, the Working Class Party, and the Independent Party. There’s also a ballot line for write-in candidates.

President and Vice President

U.S. Senate

There are no U.S. Senate elections in Michigan this year; they will take place in 2018.

State Legislative Races

In the state Senate no elections are set to take place again until 2018. In the state House of Representatives all 110 total seats are up for election. The next gubernatorial election will not take place until 2018.
