Oakland Fire: How to Help Victims’ Families

Gray Area Foundation for the Arts: Donation Page for Victims

One of the largest donation efforts was put together by the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts. They worked with the Oakland Mayor's office, the Red Cross, and other fundraising groups to put together a main relief fund. The money collected will be divided among the victims and the families of the victims. They've formed an oversight committee, working with Oakland authorities, to ensure that funds are given to fire victims as quickly as possible. The donation page is hosted on YouCaring and, at the time of publication, had raised $438,373 from more than 8,000 donors. To donate, visit the site here. (YouCaring)
