Connecticut Snowfall Totals for Winter Storm Niko 2017

Winter Storm Niko is already bringing snow to Connecticut, with some areas reporting as many as 17 inches. In fact, concern about the storm was so great that public schools were shut down in Boston and New York City and more than 2,700 flights were canceled in the region due to the storm. You can find the latest snowfall totals for Connecticut from the National Weather Service below. All totals are in inches. The snow fall totals were updated at 3 p.m. Eastern.

Heavy snow could continue until 6 p.m. in southern Connecticut and 8 p.m. in northern Connecticut, Norwich Bulletin reported.

The current snow fall totals as released by the weather service are:

Bloomfield: 17.0

Suffield: 17.0

Somers: 16.8

Barkhampsted: 16.0

Manchester: 14.0

North Haven: 14.0

Weatogue: 13.0

Milford: 12.4

Newtown: 12.0

Winsted: 11.5

Bolton: 11.5

Danbury: 11.5

Fairfield: 11.5

Windsor: 11.0

Norwich: 9.2

 

The change in weather is a shock for some, who were recently enjoying temperatures in the 60s and 70s. More snowfall is expected as the day continues.
