Manchester Ariana Grande Bombing Victims: Photos to Remember Their Lives

Nell Jones: Bright & Popular

Nell Jones died during the attack, BuzzFeed reported. She was only 14. In a statement to her school, headteacher Denis Oliver said she died at the scene. He wrote: "We are all devastated by the loss and as a school community we must now come to terms with what has happened. Nell was a very bright and popular student. Her Form Tutor, David Wheeler said 'Nell was a very popular girl, always smiling, always positive. Her tutor group have been together since the transition from primary school. It feels like they have lost a sister not a classmate.'" Oliver said that the loss was devastating and children were "all over the place crying." "We are all devastated. The heart wrenches for me and everyone else."

Family said that Jones had been on crutches at the concert, recovering from a ligament injury. A friend, Freya Lewis, was at the concert with her. She was pulled from the arena by a couple after she collapsed and required 10 hours of surgery before she was stable, Telegraph reported. (Facebook)
