Alison Howe & Lisa Lees: Devoted & Loving Mothers

Alison Howe, 45, & Lisa Lees, 47, were at the concert, waiting to pick up their 15-year-old daughters when the attack happened and they were killed, The Guardian reported. Their daughters survived. Daughter Sasha Howe posted this photo to Facebook, asking if anyone had seen them. More than 10,000 people shared the photo, in hopes that some good news could be found in the midst of the tragedy. Friends and family were devastated to learn they had been killed.

Jordan Howe wrote on Facebook: "They took a caring beautiful mum and step mother away from us all she was amazing to us all x love you loads Alison Howe xx." Friends wrote about how Lees was beautiful inside and out and a wonderful mother. One friend wrote, "She taught you so well too. We are very very sad today and always x much love and hugs to you." One friend wrote that Alison was the first person to talk to her and make her feel welcome, and Lisa was beautiful inside and out whose mother was like her own second mom. The two moms will be deeply missed.

The two were from Royton, Oldham. They had been reported missing and relatives confirmed on social that they had died. Lisa's brother, Lee Hunter, wrote: "For those who don’t know Lisa is gone but never, ever forgotten. I love you Lisa I’ll miss you so much." (Facebook)
