Michelle Kiss: Beloved Mom
Michelle Kiss from Lancashire was named as another victim of the Manchester attack. She was 45. She was the mother of a young woman, Millie, who was pictured being comforted by a police officer after the attack, Mirror reported. Her family released a statement about the tragic news: "Michelle Kiss was a loving wife to Tony, mother to Dylan, Elliot and Millie, as well as daughter to Mick and Christine and sister to Nichola. She tragically died during the horrible event that occurred on Monday night. Family was her life and we are all obviously devastated by her loss. She has been taken away from us, and all that love her, in the most traumatic way imaginable. We hope to draw from the courage and strength she showed in her life to get through this extremely difficult time."
Michelle was attending the concert with her daughter, Millie. Millie had acted in a hit musical in Liverpool, Annie, and has been acting since she was seven. She was also part of The Wind in the Willows 2016 UK tour.
A friend, Tor Jane Harcombe, wrote a heartfelt message about Michelle on Facebook: "Devastated that this gorgeous woman with a heart of gold who cherishes her family has gone. Loved all our chats when the kids where rehearsing for Annie, loved your little accent (and Tonys! ) It's only recently we were chatting about Millie going for her recall audition for School of Rock next month also! You were, and always will be Millie's biggest fan.. you've travelled up and down the country getting that girl to where she needs to be and she will forever remember that. She was equally devoted to you also. The love you had for your boys, Millie and Tony was clear for all to see whenever you were around. I really hope that Millie continues with her dream for you and has the strength and courage to carry on beyond this, If she turns out to be just half the woman her mum was then she will be miles ahead of most. Love to all the family from Me and Amelia. Michelle Kiss you will be missed." (Facebook)
