As Fox News’ bro-in-residence lurches from one faux pas to the next meet the woman who clearly adheres to the adage, Stand by Your Man. Nobody does racism or sexism or shaming poor people quite like Jesse Watters, 38. The protege of Bill O’Reilly, Watters married, a former Fox employee, Noelle Inguagiato in 2009. The couple has twin daughters, Elle and Sophie, and live in Manhassett on the north shore of Long Island.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. In 2012, to Annoy Her Husband, Noelle Told Her Husband That She Voted for President Obama
During an hilarious segment on Fox News’ show Outnumbered, while the female hosts talked about the perils of dating liberal men, Jesse shared a story from his life. The ambush reporter said that he believed he and his wife where “simpatico” in political terms so was shocked when Noelle told him she voted for President Obama in 2012.
Jesse explained what happened after she told him:
And I was like, ‘Oh my gosh! Are you kidding me?’ She got me good.
Jesse also offered his thoughts on political dating from the male perspective:
The rule of thumb for guys is you can be a crazy tea party right-wing conservative, but if the girl is Communist and she’s hot, you’re in. I mean, it doesn’t matter, as long as she’s hot.
Though Mediaite reported in December 2012 that Jesse had donated $500 to President Obama’s campaign.
2. Noelle Used to Have a Fashion & Style Show on Fox News
In 2011, Noelle hosted a short lived fashion and style show on Fox News titled iMag. The couple’s twin daughters were both born in 2011. Noelle’s Facebook page is littered with photos of the couple’s daughters.
3. Bill O’Reilly Didn’t Attend Their Wedding
In 2013, Jesse explained that his mentor, Bill O’Reilly, didn’t attend the couple’s ceremony. The fired Fox News host apparently called Jesse on the day of the ambush reporter’s wedding to inform that there was a problem with the “kids.” That meant that O’Reilly couldn’t make the nuptials. Jesse concluded that O’Reilly got him a “great gift.”
4. Jesse Watters Says His Home Life Is ‘Noelle’s World
Jesse said in a 2015 interview with Adweek that, “When I come home, it’s not Watters World, it’s my wife’s world.” He said of his family, “I’m cleaning. I’m helping. They dictate my life. The world revolves around them when I’m at home.” Jesse goes on, ” I try to get them to play sports, we watch TV, I read O’Reilly’s books to them. They don’t really get it but I try anyway. They’re great kids, I love them so much. It’s nice to come home and have them there.”
5. Jesse Watters Doesn’t Like It When His Family Get Ambushed
In April 2009, Gawker’s John Cook attempted to ambush Jesse at his family home on Long Island. The Gawker piece notes the disputes to Bill O’Reilly and Watters’ ethos that the only people who get ambushed are those who refuse to appear on Fox News.
A follow-up piece from Gawker said that Cook and another reporter attempted to ask Jesse questions while he was with Noelle. The couple sped away from the reporters.
