New York City has received unusual amounts of heavy rain and flooding today. Penn Station's main entrance was shut down for an hour, and other subway stations and tracks were also flooded. According to Weather.com, New York City can expect more rain tonight. There's an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms, and a 70 percent change of rain during the day on Saturday. Rain storms will taper off on Sunday. Today, flash flooding was triggered by rain fall rates from 1 to 2 inches an hour in the New York Tri-State area, and in New York City at some points it was even higher than that.
