Listen: Alex Jones Secretly Recorded Megyn Kelly Audio

Alex Jones has released secretly recorded audio from his interview with NBC’s Megyn Kelly (Available above). Jones said that he has asked Kelly and NBC not to air their interview because it misrepresents him. Jones posted a short video prior to releasing the footage above where he said the following:

I’ve never done this in 22 years. I’ve never recorded another journalist. I’ve never done this, but I knew it was a fraud. I knew it was a lie. God, she was like ‘I want to get steaks with you. I’m obsessed with you.’ You know, wheeling around in her seat. It was all crap and I knew it was all a lie. I said Sandy Hook happened, everything. She wouldn’t even put it in the promo pieces. And, so we’re gonna release, oh yeah, we’re gonna release the pre-interview and then when they put their fraud out on Sunday, which I’ve asked them not to air…Cause they’re misrepresenting who I am and saying I’m as bad as Saddam Hussein or Jeffrey Dahmer or Charles Manson. I mean it’s crazy. We’ve got the whole interviews here. When she was here from 9:30 in the morning till 11:00 at night, we got it all. And, so you’re going to hear what I actually said….it’s all going to come out.

Alex Jones’ interview with Megyn Kelly airs on NBC’s Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly on Sunday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Kelly has been criticized for her decision to interview Jones. One parent of a child who was murdered at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting posted the following message to Kelly on Twitter:

Kelly’s appearance at Sandy Hook Promise’s Promise Champions Gala was canceled by event organizers.

J.P Morgan Chase & Co. pulled its local TV ads and digital ads from Kelly’s show and all NBC news programming until after the show airs, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Kelly released a statement defending her decision to interview Jones:

I understand and respect the decision of the event organizers but I’m of course disappointed that I won’t be there to support them on Wednesday night. I find Alex Jones’ suggestion that Sandy Hook was “a hoax” as personally revolting as every other rational person does. It left me, and many other Americans, asking the very question that prompted this interview: How does Jones, who traffics in these outrageous conspiracy theories, have the respect of the president of the United States and a growing audience of millions? President Trump, by praising and citing him, appearing on his show, and giving him White House press credentials, has helped elevate Jones, to the alarm of many. Our goal in sitting down with him was to shine a light – as journalists are supposed to do – on this influential figure, and yes – to discuss the considerable falsehoods he has promoted with near impunity
