NBC’s newest series, Marlon, centers on a single father co-parenting his children with his ex-wife, who he manages to maintain an amicable relationship with.
Each episode of the new multi-camera sitcom starts with Marlon addressing his audience directly. Variety describes his performance as a parody of sorts, and his character as a “righteously disgruntled patriarch.”
Marlon comes to us just weeks after NBC announced the cancellation of The Carmichael Show. It is executively produced by Christopher Moynihan, Marlon Wayans, Rick Alvarez, Michael Rotenberg, and Andy Ackerman.
