Zara Tindall Is a Equestrienne

Zara Tindall doesn't have a royal title because she is the daughter of a daughter of the Queen, instead of a son.

According to Brit Royals, "She was born on 15 May 1981 and is the eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. She does not hold a royal title and is not referred to as Her Royal Highness. She was educated at Beaudersert Preparatory, Port Regis, and at like other members of the Royal Family at Gordonstoun school in Scotland before attending Exeter University where she qualified as an equine physiotherapist.

Like both her parents Zara is an accomplished horse rider and eventing champion. She won individual and team events in the 2005 European Eventing Championship, individual gold in the 2006 World Equestrian Games, and team gold in the 2007 European Eventing Championship."

Zara's mother, Princess Anne, known as the Princess Royal, is considered one of the hardest working members of the British Royal Family. Zara is the daughter of Anne and Anne's former husband, Mark Phillips. Her husband, Mike Tindall, is a rugby player. The couple have twos daughter together whose names are Mia Tindall and Lena Tindall.

Zara Tindall was the queen's first granddaughter but the second born grandchild to Queen Elizabeth II. According to Good Housekeeping, Zara says that she was given her unusual first name because it was a name that her brother liked. Zara and her husband are invited to all royal events, and she was front-and-center when her cousin, Prince Harry, married Meghan Markle in a royal wedding that was broadcast around the globe.

Why doesn't Zara have a royal title? According to Good Housekeeping, that decision came from from King George V. The decree read that the "children of the monarch male-line grandchildren and the son of the son of the Prince Of Wales automatically carry the title Prince or Princess and the style ‘HRH.'" The site reports that Queen Elizabeth was willing to grant Anne's children royal titles, but Princess Anne decided against doing so, perhaps in a quest to give her children more of a normal life. However, they are still members of the Royal Family, so their lives remain one of privilege.
