Baylor vs Kansas Preview

Baylor and Kansas meet in a top-10 matchup that could impact who wins the Big 12 Conference.

The Baylor Bears bounced back from an 87-78 loss to Alabama on Jan. 29 to beat West Virginia on Monday, January 31, in an 81-77 victory.

James Akinjo averages 13.6 points per game for the Bears, and he dishes 5.6 assists per game and collects 2.2 steals per contest. Adam Flagler scores 12.7 points per night, and he averages 3.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Kansas also stumbled recently in an 80-62 loss to No. 12 Kentucky on Jan. 29. The Jayhawks rebounded from the loss to beat No. 20 Iowa State 70-61 on Tuesday, February 1.

Ochai Agbaji leads Kansas in scoring with 20.9 points per game. He also averages 4.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Agabjia missed the ISU game due to COVID-19  protocols but will return on Saturday according to the Kansas City Star.

Christian Braun has also been solid all season for the Jayhawks with 15.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per night.
