WATCH: Melvin Gordon Sets Single-Game Rushing Record

On that 26-yard touchdown run, Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon set the Football Bowl Subdivison record for most rushing yards in a single game with 408. Gordon amazingly got to the record number on just 25 carries in 3 quarters. He also scored 4 touchdowns. This was his final carry of the game. Not a bad way to go out.

The old mark was 406 yards, held by some guy named LaDainian Tomlinson (maybe you’ve heard of him?). LT set the mark in 1999 while at TCU.

Oh, and the Badgers crushed Nebraska 59-24.
