Ohio State Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott has emerged as one of the best running backs in college football.
Elliott has rushed for 1,632 yards this season. With his 200-plus yard performance in the 2014-15 National Championship Game against the Oregon Ducks, he finished the season with three consecutive 200-yard rushing performances — against Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon.
Because Elliott is a true sophomore, he will return to school next year. He was a 4-star recruit, who was ranked 47th overall by Scout, 70th by 247Sports, 84th by Rivals and 109th by ESPN. As a senior, he rushed for 2,155 yards and 40 TDs.
Elliott will most likely be a 2015 Heisman Trophy front-runner.
