The United States Women’s National Soccer team kicks off play in the 2015 Women’s World Cup from Winnipeg, Canada, on Monday.

The Americans take on Australia in each country’s opening match of Group play.

The U.S. made the World Cup Final in 2011, but fell to Japan in a shootout.

Team USA has won 2 World Cups – their first trip in 1991, then again in 1999 – and are looking to end the drought in the month-long tournament hosted by Canada.

In 2015, the Americans are once again the favorites and their title quest begins Monday when Group D play opens.

The Americans and Australians get things underway at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. The match will be televised by FOX Sports 1.

USA defeated Australia 4-1 in the last meeting.
