Robbie Lawler retained his Middleweight Title belt at UFC 189, beating challenger Rory MacDonald with a vicious knockout punch that crunched MacDonald’s nose.
The finishing punch (watch it above) came in the fourth round of the co-main event. Lawler had bloodied MacDonald and injured his nose in the the second round, but the challenger battled back and had the momentum going into the fifth and final round. Lawler came out swinging and delivered the devastating final punch for his first title retention.
