Heavy’s partners at DraftKings are taking the upcoming NFL season to new heights with the biggest fantasy football contest of all time for Week 1.

Sign up for DraftKings and enter the $10 Millionaire Maker fantasy football contest for a chance to win $2 million.

That’s right, the guaranteed prize pool is $10 million and the player with the top fantasy score for Week 1 gets $2 million of it.

The contest gets underway on Sunday, September 13, so it doesn’t include any players from the Pittsburgh Steelers-New England Patriots season-opener on Thursday, September 10.

The buy-in for the contest is $20 or you can try to win an entry for as little as 25 cents by participating in a satellite contest, which run through September 12.

The second-place finisher gets $1 million, while third receives $500,000. Over 125,000 entered teams will be paid at least $25.

Your roster will be comprised of 9 players — 1 quarterback, 2 running backs, 3 wide receivers, 1 tight end, 1 FLEX (RB or WR or TE) and 1 defense/special teams unit.

The rules are simple, with a $50 million salary cap choose the 9 players you think will perform the best during Week 1 of the NFL season between Sunday’s and Monday night’s games. The better your selected players do on the field, the better your fantasy does, the more money you make.

The most expensive players in the contest are wide receivers Julio Jones ($9,300), Odell Beckham Jr. ($9,200), Demaryius Thomas ($9,100) and Dez Bryant ($8,700).

Aaron Rodgers ($8,600) and Andrew Luck ($8,300) have the biggest cap hits for the quarterbacks.

As for running backs, Jamaal Charles ($7,900), Matt Forte ($7,800) and Adrian Peterson ($7,700) are the priciest.

I haven’t thrown together my lineup just yet, but will be doing so as Week 1 draws near and posting it.
