Retired boxer Yusaf Mack says he signed up to do a straight-porno but after drinking a vodka and taking a pill on set, the movie turned gay. The film was shot in June 2015 in The Bronx after Mack, 35, says he replied to an ad looking for “talent” in a straight-porn movie.

1. Mack Asked for a Drink on Set When He Realized ‘It’s About to Go Down’
According to an interview Mack gave to Philly.com, he said that he answered an ad to perform in a porno because of extreme financial woes since his retirement from boxing in October 2014. He said he went to The Bronx from Philadelphia via train and arrived at a set where he saw young women milling around. Mack told Philly.com “I think, ‘It’s about to go down.’ I needed a drink or something. They gave me a pill and a shot of vodka. I took the pill down with the vodka.” The next thing her remembers is waking up back on a train in Philadelphia with $4,500 in his pocket.
Mack forgot about the whole affair until a friend told him that there was a video of Mack performing in a gay threesome circulating on the Internet. He adds to Philly.com that he can’t remember the password for the Facebook account used to answer the ad, so can’t retrace his steps so to speak.
2. The Movie Was Shot for the Site ‘DawgPound USA’
Mack made the video for DawgPound USA, according to porn network’s very-NSFW Twitter account, they are based in New York City. The site describes itself as “We ain’t f**king around. The Ultimate Original Site for Unclockable, masculine, thugged-out Black men.”
3. Mack Has 10 Kids
Mack mentions in the Philly.com interview that he has 10 kids and that “My whole life, I’ve been what they call a whoremonger. I love females. The only time I touch a man is when I’m in the ring fighting…I’m just hurt right now. I can’t really sleep at night, but I’m getting by. Everybody thinks I’m going to hurt myself. I’ve got to stay strong for my children.” On his Facebook and Instagram pages, Mack makes frequent references and post photos of his children. He’s a native of West Philadelphia, studied at Florida State University. Mack mentions that he now works at Abercrombie Kids.
4. One-Time Mack Opponent Carl Froch Once Said that the Philly Boxer ‘Could Go for As Long As He Wants’
Prior to one of Mack’s most high profile fights, against Welsh boxer Carl Froch, Mack was described as being able to “go on for as long as he wants,” reports the Independent. In response to being labelled the underdog for that fight, Mack said “I like being the underdog, I’ve been an underdog all my life.”
5. Mack Ended His 14-Year Championship Winning Boxing Career in October 2014
After a fight with Cory Cummings in New Jersey in October 2014, Mack received a hard shot to the head and lost the bout. He told Boxing Voice afterwards that he was going to retire (above). According to his Wikipedia page, Mack ended his career with numerous regional titles but no world titles.
