Colin Cowherd is the go-to loudmouth for all things sports. For all things outside of sports, the go-to loudmouth in America is presidential candidate Donald Trump. So it’s only natural that the two got together, and discussed sports, politics, and the media.
Colin hardly cut Trump off, and did a good job asking Trump questions about his business mentality. He asked real questions and Trump didn’t back down, criticizing Obama’s handling of troops in Iraq.
“Obama made a big mistake, ” Trump says in the video. “He should’ve never pulled them (troops) out the way he did.”
Cowherd even broke some news at the end of the interview, when he snuck in a VP question right at the end. Cowherd used his last 30 seconds with Trump to whittle down his potential pool of running mates.
“You called Rubio a lightweight it would not be him right?” asked Cowherd, to which Trump replied, “Most likely not.”
The Twitter reactions from the interview, as you could probably expect, were savage:
Meanwhile, the Trump machine rolls on. He’s in New York City this week, signing copies of his new book in Trump Tower.
The next Republican debate is scheduled for November 10th in Milwaukee.
