We’re back in Chicago on Friday night as the second and third round of the NFL Draft is slated to get underway. There are still plenty of good options for squads to beef up their rosters and still plenty of potential for even more gridiron drama.
This is going to be fun.
Here’s the details for tonight’s rounds of Draft drama.
Date: April 29
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern (Second & Third Rounds)
Location: Auditorium Theatre, Chicago, Illinois
TV Channel: The first hour of the night will be broadcast on ESPN before moving to ESPN 2 at 8 p.m. ET. NFL Network will also have its own live coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
Radio: ESPN Radio will offer a live broadcast throughout its affiliates. A live stream of the radio broadcast will be offered online. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. Eastern.
Live Stream: NFL Network will offer a live stream of the broadcast here. ESPN will also offer a live stream through the Watch ESPN site and apps. A cable subscription is required to access either stream.
Draft Schedule: It’s the second day of the NFL Draft and there are still plenty of big-name players left on the board.
Myles Jack, A’Shawn Robinson and Mackensie Alexander are all still waiting for their respective names to be called, while other standouts like Noah Spence and Heisman winner Derrick Henry present interesting choices for NFL squads.
Friday night also means that the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs will make their first draft appearances after missing out on the first round Thursday night. The Patriots, in particular, are a squad to watch after losing their first round pick as a result of the NFL’s DeflateGate penalties. Owner Robert Kraft said in March he had requested for the pick back, but was denied by Roger Goodell.
The Chiefs will be making their first pick after trading their first-round option to the San Francisco 49ers, who selected guard Joshua Garnett with the No. 28 pick.
The Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns will also be heard from quite a bit on Friday night with each squad having four picks a piece.
If you thought Thursday was exciting, get ready for even more football hype tonight.
