Game Preview: Michigan plays its fourth straight home game as the Wolverines host Penn State. It marks the opening game of Big Ten play for both teams.

After dropping a rivalry game against Pitt, Penn State bounced back with a win over Temple. Michigan comes in as the fourth ranked team in the country at 3-0 with wins over Hawaii, UCF and Colorado.

The Wolverines have had success thanks in large part to their defense, and Wilton Speight’s steady play at quarterback. Jabrill Peppers is the player to watch in this game. Peppers plays linebacker after spending most of last season in the secondary.
