Friday’s NBA schedule consists of ten games, with ESPN airing two beginning with the Golden State Warriors facing the Boston Celtics at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. The two meetings between the teams last season were tight affairs, with the Warriors needing double overtime to win in Boston last December and the Celtics beating Golden State by three in April to hand Steve Kerr’s team their eighth loss of the regular season. Golden State’s rotation looks a lot different this season with the addition of Kevin Durant, and in the case of the Celtics they’re dealing with injuries as Jae Crowder (sprained ankle) and Al Horford (concussion) have been out for quite some time.
In the second game of the ESPN doubleheader the Clippers visit Sacramento to take on the Kings, with Doc Rivers’ team playing the best basketball of any squad in the NBA right now. Also on the docket is Detroit visiting Cleveland in a rematch of last year’s first round playoff series and San Antonio visiting the Lakers, who have a home win over the Warriors to their credit. Below are the times and television listings for Friday’s games, and all times are Eastern.
