Before we get to the Sony Open, let's take a look at last week's Tournament of Champions. It was a solid start to the year on my end, as four players from my ideal DraftKings lineup finished in the Top 10 (Hideki Matsuyama, Ryan Moore, Patrick Reed, Jimmy Walker), while my value pick (Cody Gribble, T14) put forth a nice effort. Oh yeah, and then there was Branden Grace, who ruined the party by finish 32nd in the 32-player field, which was not ideal. We'll consider most of the lineup a success, but things get a little tougher this week, as the PGA Tour keeps it in Hawaii for the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. A normal tournament with a 36-hole cut, this year's event features a stacked field, and when you throw in some relatively soft DraftKings pricing, there are lots of different potential options and strategies when making your DFS picks.
