When & Where Is Super Bowl 51 Being Played?

They say everything is bigger in Texas. Hopefully that’s the case for Super Bowl LI, which will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston.

2017 marks the the third year the Super Bowl will be held in Houston. The game was played at Rice Stadium in 1974, while NRG Stadium (then named Reliant Stadium) previously hosted the game back in 2004, when the New England Patriots–who will be hoping history repeats itself–defeated the Carolina Panthers. The only other instance it was played in Texas was in 2011 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

As of writing this, tickets to the game start at $3,400 on StubHub, while packages on TicketMaster begin at $5,800. The most expensive ticket on StubHub is $22,000, while the average ticket price, per SeatGeek, is $6,682.50.
