No. 7 Los Angeles Chargers: FS Malik Hooker
School: Ohio State
Position: Free Safety
Class: Red-Shirt Sophomore
Outlook: The Chargers address defense early for the second straight draft. Eric Weddle's departure left a hole in the Chargers secondary this past season. Hooker is one of the best safeties in a draft class deep at the position. Wide receiver could be in play here as well with Keenan Allen often battling injuries. Hooker put up eye-popping numbers with seven interceptions and 74 tackles during his 2016 season at Ohio State. Hooker is battling LSU's Jamal Adams to be the number one safety off the board. Hooker has a smaller body of work starting only one season in Columbus, but it was a great season that could push him into the top ten. (Getty)
