Berger's missed cut along with Thomas Pieters at the Zurich Classic marked the fourth time he has failed to play the weekend in his last nine starts. But in between those MC's, he has finishes of fifth, seventh, 16th and 27th, with the latter coming at Augusta. There are elevators that have less ups and downs than the 24-year-old.
Nevertheless, while there is risk involved, there is obviously a lot of upside, as indicated by his 69.89 scoring average (21st on Tour) and 24.42 birdie-or-better percentage (14th). In GPP and tournament formats, he's worth the gamble. (Getty)
