The Miz (c) (with Maryse, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) vs. Dean Ambrose (WWE Intercontinental Championship)
Winner: And still the WWE Intercontinental Champion, The Miz!
Highlights: Once the bell rung, Ambrose targeted Bo Dallas to start the proceedings. Ambrose ran back into the ring for a bit to get back at The Miz, but then he chose to beat down a member of Miz’s Entourage once again. Miz took advantage of Ambrose’s distracted state and took him down with his own strikes. Miz stayed on top of Ambrose by planting him with a stiff DDT and more of his continued offense. Miz slowed the pace down while he continuously kicked Ambrose over and over. Miz looked to land a Double Axe Handle off the top rope, but Ambrose caught him and almost finished him with Dirty Deeds. Miz escaped, but he still got dropped with a Spinning Neckbreaker. Ambrose then launched right into his signature comeback maneuvers while Miz’s outside help tried to revive him with cheers. Miz eventually woke back up and dropkicked Ambrose right in the knee. Miz then focused his next slate of moves onto the that knee while Ambrose was strung up in the corner.
Miz ended up running right into a nasty Clothesline at one point. Ambrose tried to follow that up with another Dirty Deeds attempt, but Miz escaped again and soon locked his hurt knee into a Figure Four Leglock. Ambrose lay writhing in pain for a while until he grabbed the bottom rope to escape. Miz then used his repeated chest kicks to further humiliate Ambrose. Miz’s last kick missed though and led into Ambrose getting enough strength to retaliate. Ambrose came off the top rope to ground Miz with an Elbow Drop. Afterwards, Maryse distracted the ref while Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas got their hands on Ambrose. Ambrose fought them all off by launching himself onto all three men on the outside. Back inside the ring, Ambrose almost got his IC Championship back after planting Miz with his Dirty Deeds. But Maryse saved her man by putting his foot on the bottom rope. Madness ensued as Miz’s backup came at Ambrose from every direction. Miz got the help he needed after Bo cracked Ambrose in the back of the head. Miz then finished Ambrose off with his Skull Crushing Finale.
Enzo Amore vs. Big Cass
Winner: Big Cass!
Highlights: Enzo made his entrance and pulled off his usual antics and microphone ish talk. Enzo spoke about his former partnership with Cass and how high they were during their tenure together. Enzo told the crowd that he’s fully prepared to stay strong and become larger than life over his former partner. He ended his big time promo by referring to Cass as “SAWFT.” Cass finally made his entrance with a brand new theme song and tights to commemorate his new solo run. Both men stared each other down for a bit until Enzo ran at Cass with jabs. Cass easily knocked Enzo down though and laid him down with strikes in the corner. Cass punished Enzo with a headlock of some sort before flinging him down to the ground. Cass continued to assault Enzo with slaps and then sent him flying with a Fallaway Slam. Cass splashed Enzo in the corner once, then went for another one. Enzo fell to his feet before Cass could crash into him again, but Cass picked him back up to land more stiff strikes. Cass then launched Enzo in the air with a Gorilla Press Slam and threw him hard onto the outside mat. Enzo slowly pulled himself back into the ring before the ref counted him out. Cass looked amazed at his former friend’s resiliency. But the match came to a close once Cass finished Enzo off with a running Big Boot.
Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt
Winner: Bray Wyatt!
Highlights: Both men engaged in a lock up sequence to kick things off. Rollins managed to get the better of Bray with a stiff kick to the back. Wyatt got the better of the next lock up exchange, which led to Bray creeping out Rollins with his signature taunt. Rollins got tired of Bray’s antics and landed a Baseball Dropkick to him when he left for the outside. Back in the ring though, Bray got his hands on Rollins for a few moments. Rollins fought back and managed to drop Bray face first into the corner ring pad with a Flatliner. Bray was shaken for a bit until he ended up the ring apron with Rollins. Rollins ended up getting thrown face first himself into the steel ring steps. Back inside the ring, Bray maintained control over Rollins for a good while. Both men ended up battling it out on the top rope, which led into Rollins eating a nasty Superplex from Bray. When both men got back to their feet, several blows were exchanged between them. Back on the ring apron, Bray spiked Rollins’ head right into it.
Bray got his arm around Rollins’ throat back in the ring for a few seconds. Bray then tried to land a Running Senton, but Rollins moved out of the way at the last second. Rollins finally used this moment to begin making a comeback against Bray by hitting him with a Suicide Dive the the outside. Rollins then cleaned Bray’s clock with a Springboard Clothesline. Rollins then began pulling off his big signature maneuvers on the challenger for a good while. At one point, Rollins hit an Enzuguri on Bray but Bray responded a with a nasty Lariat. Rollins looked like he was down for the count, but he picked up Bray to land a big Falcon Arrow. Rollins looked to come off the top rope with a match ender, but Bray cut him off with a Jawbreaker. That led into Bray slamming Rollins to the mat with a Uranage. While Rollins crawled off the mat, Bray slapped him and taunted him relentlessly. Rollins responded with tons of punches that forced Bray to the outside. Rollins tried to retrieve him, but Bray countered him with a thumb to the eye. This led into the Sister Abigail finish from Bray.
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks (WWE Raw Women’s Championship)
Winner: Sasha Banks by countout…
Highlights: At first, Banks got the better of the champ during their numerous lock up’s. Bliss ended up getting dropkicked to the outside at one point and then got sent across the ring with an armdrag shortly thereafter. Bliss’ arm looked to be severely injured, but it turns out she did this to herself to fool Banks. Alexa popped her elbow back into shape and then used it to plant an elbow strike on Banks. Alexa was in control for a bit until Sasha almost locked her into the Banks Statement. Bliss almost made her way to the back and quit the match, but Banks got ahold of her before she could escape. While Banks was standing on the ring apron, Bliss tripped her up and forced her to fall on her back. Once Bliss got back in control, she worked on her back with her signature offense. Bliss remained relentless as she continued to assault Banks’s weakened back.
Banks finally got Bliss away from her by suplexing her hard into the corner. When both ladies got to their feet, Banks launched right into her signature comeback offense. Banks even grounded Bliss with a Back Suplex followed up a running knee strike. Banks looked to be in control for a while before she was caught with an Elbow Strike and a Code Red that almost finished her. Bliss soon went to the top rope to land her Twisted Bliss. She came off the top rope and landed right onto Banks’ knees, which led to Banks locking in the Banks Statement. Bliss looked like she was on the verge of tapping until she forced herself to grab onto the bottom rope. Banks ended up getting pulled to the outside by Bliss, but Banks countered her by shoving her into the barricade. Banks rolled Bliss back into the ring, but Bliss chose to roll out once more. Bliss elbowed Banks when she tried to bring her back in and then chose to get counted out to retain her title. After the ball rang, Banks and Bliss brawled on the main stage. Both women ended up on the announce table, which led to Banks pushing Bliss off to the ground below. Banks then took flight and crushed Bliss with her double knee strike.
