Boucher totaled 16 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 19 minutes during Monday's 139-125 loss to New York. With starting center Jakob Poeltl (groin) out Monday, Boucher stepped up for the Raptors with an efficient 16 points as well as a full stat line off the bench. Through his last 12 contests, Boucher is averaging 9.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 17.6 minutes. If Poeltl misses Toronto's next game Thursday against Memphis, Boucher would be worth streaming in deep fantasy leagues for a decent dose of boards, triples and defensive stats, but he'd still likely remain in a timeshare with Jonathan Mogbo and Kelly Olynyk at the five.

Latest Raptors News
Chris Boucher : Steps up with efficient 16 points
RJ Barrett : Busy night at charity stripe
Barrett (illness) ended Monday's 139-125 loss to the Knicks with 23 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-11 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 33 minutes. After missing Toronto's past two games due to an illness, Barrett had a busy night at the charity stripe Monday against his former team, hitting eight of his 11 free-throw attempts. Over his last nine games, Barrett is averaging a strong 24.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 0.8 blocks and 1.9 three-pointers while shooting 50.3 percent from the field during this span. The 24-year-old wing should continue piling up counting stats for the 7-23 Raptors, but he remains a better option for fantasy managers in points leagues due to his high rate of turnovers and subpar free-throw percentage on sizeable volume.
Scottie Barnes : Team-high 24 points in rout
Barnes notched 24 points (10-20 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 139-125 loss to the Knicks. Barnes led the team with 24 points and eight assists in Monday's rout, functioning once again as Toronto's floor general in the continued absence of point guard Immanuel Quickley (elbow). Across his last nine outings, Barnes is averaging a productive 19.3 points, 7.9 assists, 7.4 rebounds, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers. The versatile All-Star forward can stuff the stat sheet for the Raptors on any given night, but his shooting efficiency may be dodgy until Quickley returns to the lineup to aid with playmaking, and fantasy managers in nine-category formats will also want to see Barnes improve on his 71.4-percent clip from the free-throw line this year moving ahead.
A.J. Lawson : Makes Toronto debut
Lawson (quad) logged three points (1-1 3Pt) in four minutes of action during Monday's 139-125 loss to the Knicks. Lawson missed a G League game Saturday due to a quad injury but was called up to the NBA squad and cleared to play Monday. It was the 24-year-old's first game action with Toronto, and he played the final four minutes of the blowout loss. Although he's a two-way player, Lawson isn't expected to see much NBA action in 2024-25.
Jamal Shead : Late scratch Monday
Shead has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Knicks due to a right knee contusion, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Shead was a late scratch due to the knee injury, and his next chance to suit up will come Thursday against Memphis. With the rookie sidelined, Davion Mitchell and Ja'Kobe Walter should pick up the slack in the backcourt off the bench.
Ja'Kobe Walter : Retreats to bench Monday
Walter will come off the bench in Monday's game against the Knicks. With veteran RJ Barrett slotting back into the starting five, Walter will retreat to the bench following two consecutive starts. The rookie was stellar in Sunday's loss to the Rockets, during which he posted a career-high 27 points (9-18 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three assists and two rebounds across 28 minutes. Over his last five outings (two starts), Walter has averaged 13.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 24.8 minutes per contest.
RJ Barrett : Good to go against New York
Barrett (illness) is available to play against the Knicks on Monday, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Barrett has missed the Raptors' last two games due to an illness. He was a late scratch for both of those contests, but he is slated to make his return Monday. In the 10 games prior to his illness, Barrett averaged 24.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists over 34.7 minutes per game.
RJ Barrett : Deemed GTD
Barrett (illness) is a game-time decision for Monday's game against the Knicks, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports. Barrett was a late scratch in each of the Raptors' last two games due to illness. He'll likely have to go through pre-game warmups before a determination on his status is made. If he can't suit up Monday, Ja'Kobe Walter and Jamison Battle could see more action.
