Latest Raptors News
Ochai Agbaji : Ruled out for Saturday
Agbaji (hand) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Hawks, Aaron Rose of SI.comreports. Agbaji will miss a fourth straight game Saturday for the Raptors. Toronto could turn to Bruce Brown and Jamison Battle to shoulder the load with the 24-year-old still on the mend.
Immanuel Quickley : Remains out for Saturday
Quickley (hip) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Atlanta, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Quickley will miss his sixth consecutive contest due to a strained left hip, and his next chance to suit up will come Monday against the Pelicans. The 25-year-old has played only nine regular-season games during the 2024-25 campaign, so the club will likely wait until he's 100 percent to give him the green light.
Kelly Olynyk : Won’t play against Atlanta
Olynyk (calf) is out for Saturday's game versus the Hawks, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Olynyk will miss Saturday's contest after leaving Thursday's matchup with Atlanta early due to right calf tightness. Chris Boucher and Orlando Robinson are candidates to receive increased playing time in his absence. Olynyk's next chance to suit up is Monday's game versus the Pelicans.
Scottie Barnes : Game-high 25 points in win
Barnes dropped 25 points (8-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-10 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Thursday's 122-119 win over the Hawks. Barnes remains the focal point of head coach Darko Rajakovic's offense, giving him the volume to be an elite fantasy option. The fact that he racks up stats on the defensive side of the ball is just icing on the cake. Thursday's game marked the sixth time he scored 25 or more points this season. He'll look to keep rolling in a rematch with the Hawks on Saturday.
Bruce Brown : Season-high 18 points off bench
Brown logged 18 points (8-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, four assists and a steal across 20 minutes in Thursday's 122-119 win over the Hawks. The veteran forward seems to have found his form in Toronto after initially struggling with a combination of injuries and an inability to string together consistent performances. In his last three games, Brown's average was 16.7 points, 5.3 boards, and 3.0 assists while shooting 55.7 percent from the field. It seems he's finally turned a corner, so as long as head coach Darko Rajakovic trusts him to be a leader with the second unit, he could be someone to keep an eye on in deeper fantasy leagues.
Jakob Poeltl : Stuffs stat sheet in win
Poeltl put up 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in 28 minutes during Thursday's 122-119 win over the Hawks. Despite seeing somewhat limited action while splitting minutes with Kelly Olynyk and Chris Boucher, the big man made the most of his time on court as a force to be reckoned with down low all night. He contributed in every aspect of the game, even dishing his third-highest assist mark of the season and matching his second-highest steals total while he was at it. He could see more run in upcoming games since Olynyk was injured and is now day-to-day. Either way, his efficient scoring and tenacious rebounding continue to make him a valuable fantasy option going forward.
Kelly Olynyk : Leaves early with tight calf
Olynyk missed the entire fourth quarter of Thursday's 122-119 win over the Hawks due to right calf tightness, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Olynyk recorded 11 points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one steal in 14 minutes but appeared to tweak his calf late in the third quarter, prompting Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic to open the final period with Chris Boucher at center. Consider Olynyk day-to-day until the Raptors provide an update on his condition, but if Olynyk misses the team's rematch with Atlanta on Saturday, Boucher, Orlando Robinson or Jonathan Mogbo could serve as Jakob Poeltl's primary backup.
Ochai Agbaji : Ruled out for Thursday
Agbaji (hand) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Hawks. Agbaji will miss a third consecutive game for the Raptors as he continues to deal with a laceration on his right hand. In his absence, Bruce Brown could see a bump in minutes in Atlanta.
