Fighter salaries for last weekend’s Ultimate Finale are now available. All of the Ultimate Fighter contestants on the show, including TUF 10 champ Roy Nelson, earned $8,000 to show and $8,000 to win. With one notable exception, of course: Kimbo Slice earned $25,000 with no win bonuses.
Slice’s earnings for his victory over Houston Alexander were substantially greater than those of his housemates due to his marketability. Heavy.com has also learned that the $25,000 figure Slice earned for the bout was for one fight only. Slice’s victory over Alexander will bring him a substantial payraise in his next bout, and while we don’t have the actual figure that he’ll make in his next fight at this point, we’ve been told that it will put him among the top tier of earners in the UFC.
