UFC stars Khamzat Chimaev and Darren Till agreed to a future megafight during an Instagram live session on Friday. The stream happened live on Chimaev’s official Instagram page. Till was let into the chat after requesting to join via the comments section.

Despite their growing rivalry, things were actually pretty cordial between Chimaev and Till.
The UFC stars first exchanged some pleasantries, then went through a brief period where Till appeared to be talking on mute and nobody could hear him. Thankfully, Chimaev and Till eventually sorted that situation out and got down to the business at hand.
“I wanna fight you,” Till said.
“Yeah! Why not, brother?” Chimaev responded.
Both Chimaev and Till are incredibly popular UFC stars. Chimaev rose to fame in 2020 by running roughshod over the competition in his first three UFC fights.
Meanwhile, Till is a former title challenger from Liverpool who has packed some massive crowds into fights across the pond in the United Kingdom.

Is Chimaev vs. Mangy Next?
Chimaev believes he’s on his way to facing UFC welterweight contender Neil Magny in August, but the 27-year-old Russian-born Swedish fighter is still trying to get three more fights lined up after that.
The best part? Chimaev wants to keep competing across two different weight classes: welterweight and middleweight.
Till has also done that, though he’s taken the more traditional route of moving up over time.
Till, 28, is a former welterweight who now competes as a UFC middleweight. He’s coming off a loss to former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker, and he’s lost three out of his last four fights, but he would still quite easily be the most accomplished opponent Chimaev has yet to face.
Till might have his own fight against Derek Brunson to get through on August 14. Per MMA Fighting, that middleweight showdown could be on its way.
So Magny might come next for Chimaev, and Brunson for Till, but the proposed Chimaev vs. Till megafight could happen later this year if both stars get their wishes granted by UFC matchmakers.

With Both Stars Predicting Wins, Something Has To Give
During their chat on Instagram, Till chatted about how Chimaeav was probably on his way to fighting Magny first. That showdown seems to be on the horizon right now even though it hasn’t been officially announced by the UFC.
For his part, Chimaev didn’t disagree with Till’s suggestion that Magny was next, but “Borz” seemed way more interested in getting Till to commit to a future showdown.
When Chimaev brought up facing Till again in the chat, Till responded, “I’ll fight you. You know I will. But you know I’ll beat you, right? You know I’ll beat you easy.”
Chimaev laughed the prediction off and offered his own idea about what will happen when the two stars clash.
“The cage is gonna show it, brother,” Chimaev said. “…I think I can smash you easy, brother.”
