UFC superstar Conor McGregor arrived at Yas Island, aka UFC Fight Island, in Abu Dhabi on Sunday in luxurious style. The 32-year-old former UFC “champ champ” floated up to the site of his upcoming UFC 257 encounter against Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier on a private yacht. The famed MMA star released pictures and videos of his lavish experience via social media.

First, McGregor posted a few pictures of himself meditating on his boat.

Next, the fighter dropped a video of himself training on his floating paradise.

McGregor Just as Impressive on Land

Of course, McGregor wasn’t done impressing people there.

After arriving at the location of his next fight via luxury yacht, the UFC superstar pulled up to his next land-based stop in a Rolls Royce.

You can watch McGregor’s arrival below as captured by the MMA news site McGregor owns and operates, The Mac Life.

By the looks of things, McGregor also entered Fight Island wearing the $2 million dollar watch he recently revealed to the world via Instagram.

According to Maxim, McGregor’s ostentatious timepiece “boasts a case set with 178 baguette diamonds, a bezel set with 100 baguette diamonds, and a crown set with 14 baguette diamonds plus a cabochon-cut diamond”.

Wow.

But that’s not even the feature everyone is talking about the most.

Instead, that would be the watch’s now-infamous “erotic automation of a couple having sex” that can only be revealed by pushing a special hidden lever.

You can see that interesting feature below (WARNING: EXPLICIT).

McGregor’s Arrival Compared to ‘SNL’ Skit

Obviously, McGregor’s stunning arrival to Fight Island on his yacht led many people on social media to draw comparisons to Lonely Island’s “I’m On a Boat” music video that originally debuted as a Digital Short on “Saturday Night Live”.

That comedic song and video from 2009 features musical artist T-Pain, so some wondered whether the hip hop icon might emerge somewhere from within McGregor’s boat, too.

That hasn’t happened yet, but Heavy on UFC has you covered if news eventually breaks on that front.

UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2

McGregor faces Poirier on January 23 at UFC 257, and the stakes are high for both 155-pound stalwarts.

The world’s most popular MMA superstar, McGregor, has all sorts of massive plans for 2021 but all of them hinge on the fighter beating Poirier at UFC 257.

McGregor enters his big fight vs. “The Diamond” ready for an important battle.

It’s the first UFC pay-per-view event of 2021, and the important lightweight showdown is expected to be one of the best-selling UFC pay-per-view events of the year.

Additionally, the winner of UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2 will stand on solid ground in terms of getting the next crack at the UFC’s coveted 155-pound championship.

McGregor might have landed on Fight Island enjoying the ostentatious lifestyle his many wins inside the UFC’s Octagon have afforded him, but the fruits of his labor don’t appear to have spoiled his will to win.
