The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the newest phablet from Samsung. Revealed at the 2013 IFA Technology Conference, here are five fast facts you need to know.

1. Multi-Tasking Has Become Extremely Easy Using Samsung Devices

This was one of the themes Samsung touched on multiple times during their presentation. The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition will let you view multiple apps simultaneously. The new upgrade to the user interface is sure to satisfy the busiest users. With multiple panes open side by side, searching the web and writing out notes are simple and won’t drastically drain battery life.

2. The Galaxy Note 10.1 Got A Significant Screen Upgrade

The resolution has been greatly upgraded for the 2014 edition. The LCD Display is 2560×1600 similar to the Nexus 10. It has a 1080p full HD panel bringing gorgeous and detailed videos and images to your tablet screen.

3. The Air Command Wheel Aids Multi-Tasking Functions

This new tool added into the Galaxy Note 10.1 appears when you drag the stylus over the screen giving you options to choose from. It contributes to shortcuts on the Galaxy Note 10.1 that bring scribbles to life. Air Command can sync with scrapbooks and other programs to support jobs you need to do.

4. The S-Pen Is An Essential Element of The Tablet

Samsung kept focusing on this tool for their new products. The S-Pen lets users draw various shapes to perform different commands such as the box. Drawing a box around text or an icon which takes you to either the dialer for the phone or other apps on the tablet.

5. The Final Galaxy Note 10.1 Will Ship In Three Models

The versions will come in different capabilities for connection capabilities. One selection will be Wi-Fi only while another will be Wi-Fi and 3G ready. The last gadget will be Wi-Fi and LTE. The only thing Samsung didn’t elaborate on was what the actual price for these models will be but could be purchased in black and white sometime in Quarter 3.
