Meet the LG G-Flex (The Verge)
Flexible displays and larger “phablets” are the next big tech trend coming to the industry and this latest invention is LG’s attempts at capitalizing on it. Dubbed the G-Flex, a series of press renders have leaked online showing off LG’s answer to the Samsung Galaxy Round.
These images arrive on week after LG acknowledged they would begin production on their phones. (The Verge)
Engadget reports that the phone will be approximately six inches with another curved display. The element of the gadget is most likely the OLED display the company mentioned last week. A release date is targeted for November.
If these pictures are accurate, the phone looks sleeker and sharper than the duller Samsung iteration. While LG has been working on this device for some time, this couldn’t be consider copying Samsung even though this smartphones comes out a few weeks after its competitor.
