The iPhone 6 is expected to launch in the fall of 2014. Despite the fact that the launch is months away, iPhone fans are already obsessing about what new features the iPhone 6 will have. Here are the most intriguing rumors and predictions we’ve heard about this cutting edge smartphone.

GottaBeMobile recently put together a stunning video of iPhone 6 concept art. Seen above, the video showcases what an iPhone 6 might look like with a larger screen.
MacRumors notes that the screen size for the iPhone 6 is likely to be between 4.7 and 5.7 inches. A screen size of 4.94 inches would retain the current resolution of 1136×640.
2. Curved (Sapphire?) Glass Displays

It’s been rumored for some time now that the iPhone 6 might debut as a curved screen model. The curve of the screen would make the device sit nicely against a person’s cheek during a phone call, but would also improve screen quality. Forbes notes that these types of curved glass smartphone displays are ideal for creating phones that are more rugged and produce less glare while watching a video.
Forbes cites curved Gorilla Glass (made by Corning) as a possible iPhone 6 material. However, TIME suggests that the more expensive, scratch-proof option would be “sapphire glass.”
3. Vastly Improved Sensors

One report from TechCrunch suggests that improved screen sensitivity is in the works for the iPhone 6. TechCrunch contributor Darrell Etherington writes:
“The sensor developments are potentially more interesting to those who find the current screen size of the iPhone adequate; true pressure sensitivity (currently, some crude extent of that is possible via the iPhone’s accelerometer) would make drawing and handwriting applications on the iPhone and iPad much, much better. Apple could sell the devices as professional-level artistic devices if it introduces those kinds of features, in addition to just making things better for everyday users who want to jot notes and doodle, for example, or perform minor photo touch-ups.”
4. Solar Power

USA Today notes that a solar-powered iPhone 6 might be possible. Forbes adds that Apple has filed patents for devices powered by solar cells. The idea of being able to recharge your phone just by taking a walk with it on a sunny day is very appealing to consumers who are tired of limited smartphone battery life.
5. Multiple iPhone 6 Models

Digital Trends is just one of the many sources who claim that the iPhone 6 might debut as two, slightly different models. One model would be smaller, and more “iPhone-sized,” likely around 4.7 inches. The other, larger model would be more like a “phablet” and clock in at around 5.7 inches. Possible names for the phones in this generation include iPhone Air, iPhone 6, iPhone 6C, or iPhone Mini.
