Click here to visit Apple’s Live event website, where you can watch the keynote speech. The keynote begins at 10 a.m., Pacific time. You can see pictures from the event as they become available in our iPhone 6 gallery. We’ve also got a separate gallery dedicated to the Apple Watch.
The live event is expected to feature the debut of the iPhone 6, and possibly the hotly anticipated iWatch. Additionally, there have been rumors that the band U2 will be involved in the launch in some way. Those rumors panned out, and you can see footage from U2’s performance right here.
2. Watch Apple’s iPhone 6 Keynote Livestream on Apple TV
Feld & Volk, the makers of luxurious iPhone mods, have leaked photos and video of the iPhone 6. See the leaked iPhone 6 parts in the video above.
If you own an Apple TV set-top box, you can watch Apple’s Keynote live. Select Apple Events from the main menu to watch. This is a great way to watch if you want to view the keynote on your TV, thus freeing up your laptop or tablet to view liveblogs about the event. Make sure that if you have any updates to install on your Apple TV, you start the update process well before the event’s start time. It would be sad if you missed the start of the event because of a slow update.
3. Watch Apple’s iPhone 6 Keynote Livestream on Mobile
This video above claims to show a real iPhone 6 next to an iPhone 5s.
On any mobile device running iOS, you can simply point your Safari browser to this link. The video should begin to play once the countdown ends. Do note that you may have difficulty getting the livestream to play if you use a mobile browser other than Safari.
4. Note the Restrictions Apple Has Placed on the Livestream
“Is this the New iPhone 6?” might just be the perfect antidote to the iPhone news barrage we’ve been experiencing. Watch this hilarious video above, which pokes fun at typical iPhone 6 leak videos.
Per Apple’s Live special event site, here are the restrictions you may encounter when trying to watch the keynote livestream. Make sure your device of choice meets the specs outlined below, and you should be able to enjoy the iPhone 6 keynote, uninterrupted:
Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.
In other words, if you’re trying to watch the livestream at work on a Windows or Linux machine, you are probably going to have issues. You’ll also want to make sure that your OS is up-to-date in order to get the best experience. That being said, Windows machines with Quicktime 7 installed should be able to see the keynote.
The iPhone 6 keynote is over, but ABC’s David Muir will be hosting a TV special about the iPhone 6 this evening. Click here to learn more about it.
