1. iOS 8 Is Riddled With Problems, Including Battery Drain & Wi-Fi Issues

Many iOS 8 users are experiencing battery drain and Wi-Fi bugs, along with an array of more minor issues. Since upgrading to iOS 8, users have reported issues with apps crashing, with bookmarks being reset without their knowledge, extremely poor download speeds, overheating devices, and issues with Contacts.
Additionally, many users are unhappy about the unpolished, unfinished state of new Apple services like the Health app and Apple Pay.
2. Apple Released iOS 8.0.1, Then Pulled It
Apple released an update to iOS 8, which was iOS 8.0.1. However, Apple had to pull that update after it caused even more problems. iOS 8.0.1 caused phone calls to not work on some devices. 3. The Next iOS 8 Update Is Expected in a Few Days
According to Business Insider, frustrated iOS 8 users can expect an update for iOS in a few days. It will be called iOS 8.0.2. Apple states on its website that after users download iOS 8.0.2, the Health app should work.
It’s not clear when “a few days” will be by Apple’s reckoning, but with any luck there will be a fix for iOS 8 out in the wild by the end of the weekend. But with so many problems in iOS 8, will Apple be able to regain the trust and goodwill of their customers? These iOS 8 issues, compounded with complaints about the new iPhone’s design and the iPhone’s apparent bending problem may have consumers running to trade in their devices for smartphones made by Apple’s competitors.
