Check out the video above to see some tips for improving battery life in iOS 8.

Many iOS 8 users are experiencing battery drain and Wi-Fi bugs, along with an array of more minor issues. Since upgrading to iOS 8, users have reported issues with apps crashing, with bookmarks being reset without their knowledge, extremely poor download speeds, overheating devices, and issues with Contacts.

Additionally, many users are unhappy about the unpolished, unfinished state of new Apple services like the Health app and Apple Pay.

2. Apple Released iOS 8.0.1, Then Pulled It

Apple released an update to iOS 8, which was iOS 8.0.1. However, Apple had to pull that update after it caused even more problems. iOS 8.0.1 caused phone calls to not work on some devices. Other issues with the update included issues with Touch ID and network connectivity. You can learn all about how the iOS 8.0.1 update went wrong in the video above.

3. The Next iOS 8 Update Is Expected in a Few Days

According to Business Insider, frustrated iOS 8 users can expect an update for iOS in a few days. It will be called iOS 8.0.2. Apple states on its website that after users download iOS 8.0.2, the Health app should work.

It’s not clear when “a few days” will be by Apple’s reckoning, but with any luck there will be a fix for iOS 8 out in the wild by the end of the weekend. But with so many problems in iOS 8, will Apple be able to regain the trust and goodwill of their customers? These iOS 8 issues, compounded with complaints about the new iPhone’s design and the iPhone’s apparent bending problem may have consumers running to trade in their devices for smartphones made by Apple’s competitors.
