Ed Sheeran is one of the most popular music artists today and has really had a breakout year. This morning, he’s taking over Good Morning America for a big performance set as part of GMA‘s summer concert series. The concert will air on GMA live from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. ET on Friday, May 29, 2015.

Recently, Sheeran was in the news for refusing to give a female fan her first kiss. To be fair, the girl was 9 years old, which is illegal. Sheeran told Entertainment Weekly:

She wanted me to be her daughter’s first kiss – and her daughter was nine. She was like, ‘Well, Carrie Underwood did it for this 11-year-old boy last week … If Carrie Underwood kisses an 11-year-old boy, he goes to school the next day and they go, ‘Oh, you absolute lad!’ If a nine-year-old girl goes into school and goes, ‘I got kissed by a 24-year-old yesterday’, police are being called, you know?

Maybe next time the request could be for a kiss on the cheek … even though Sheeran is recently single. In late March 2015, he announced his split from girlfriend Athina Andrelos, so he is back on the market, ladies.
