After focusing more on Supergirl’s relationship with Mon-El, the Martians take center stage in the new episode of Supergirl. “The Martian Chronicles” airs on The CW on Monday, February 6 at 8 p.m. ET. Read on for a preview of the episode and other Supergirl news.
In “The Martian Chronicles,” White Martian Armek (Terrell Tilford) shows up on earth to arrest M’gann M’orzz (Sharon Leal) for treason. As we has learned in the past, M’gann wasn’t like most White Martians, who blindly followed orders and helped in the genocide of the Green Martians. She refused to kill children and escaped to earth. Needless to say, the other White Martians weren’t too happy.
J’onn (David Harewood) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) think that keeping M’gann in the DEO building will keep her safe. But there’s just one problem – the M’gann they took the DEO is actually Armek! (Although this does sound like a spoiler, The CW has it in its episode description.)
Last week, The CW also announced two important castings for Supergirl. Kevin Sorbo (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) will have a mysterious role. Teri Hatcher, who famously played Lois Lane in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, will play a villain in the second half of season two.
“No offense to any of the wonderful actresses who have also played the part, but Teri Hatcher is my all time favorite Lois Lane,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement about Hatcher’s casting. “To have her come back to the SuperWorld in a completely different part is an unbelievable gift to me, Greg [Berlanti], and the fans.”

Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) determine the best way to keep M’gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into M’gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them.”
