D.Va and Genji Are Coming To ‘Heroes of the Storm’

D.Va, Heroes of the Storm

A new cinematic trailer has been revealed today for Heroes of the Storm and it introduces the two new heroes coming with the latest patch 2.0. Those two heroes are D.Va and Genji from Overwatch. We are treated to a cinematic of Genji and D.Va taking on the Lord of Terror himself, Diablo.

Not much can be shared about D.Va except the fact that she will be a frontline warrior, much like she is in Overwatch. You can check out the new cinematic trailer right here at the bottom of the page.

Patch 2.0 should be live right now in North America. Genji is available now with D.Va on the way, in the near future I’d assume. We’ll let you know more details about her arrival when they become available.

The Heroes of the Storm version of Genji is very similar to his character in Overwatch. He can attack with shurikens, a dashing swift strike and he can deflect enemy projectiles back at his enemies. Genji’s ultimate, Dragonblade, makes the trip over and Blizzard has given him another heroic ability, X-Strike. X-Strike performs two slashes dealing 135 damage and they detonate after 1.25 seconds to cause an additional 270 damage to enemies in their area. A full rundown of Genji’s skills can be found on his hero page on Battle.net. He will fit well as damage dealer, however, he may have a tendency to be squishy, but we’ll see.
