EA has promised the next game will span across multiple Star Wars eras but that could’ve meant the sequel trilogy and content from Rogue One. The prequel trilogy has been largely avoided in video games since the Disney acquisition. It looks like Disney and EA decided to make the Battlefront universe larger by including the new content. This game will feature a single player campaign unlike the previous game.
