A former stripper, Jana Weckerly, is suing Dallas Cowboy’s owner Jerry Jones for more than $1 million dollars in punitive damages for sexual assault.

Here’s what you need to know:


1. Jones ‘Forcibly Rubbed Her Genitals’

In an 11 page document, Jerry Jones is being sued for sexual assault against former exotic dancer Jana Weckerly. She claims Jones forcibly rubbed her genitals, grabbed her buttocks and breasts multiple times, and Jones forced her to ‘touch and rub’ his penis. Weckerly is also claiming, that Jones forced her to watch Jones receive oral sex from another woman.


2. The Allegations Are More Than 5 Years Old

Weckerly’s claims the assault came back in May or June of 2009, with no exact time table being given to the allegations. The alleged incident occurred in a local 5 star hotel, with the assault believed to have taken place in the bathroom. Then once again when Weckerly and two other women reached a night club with Jones, where he continued his advances, before having them removed from the club.


3. Photos of Jones Posing With Strippers Were Leaked Earlier This Month

Earlier this month, photos of Jones posing with strippers were leaked and went viral, with Weckerly stating she was the one who took the pictures. After the photo’s leaked, this is when Weckerly decided to take steps in seeking a lawyer and filing for sexual assault.


4. Weckerly Claims the Cowboys Covered Up the Incident

While the only statement regarding the photos from Jones has been, they “misrepresent” what was happening. Dallas Cowboy’s spokesman Rich Dalrymple has said the allegation are nothing more than a “shakedown” for money and an attempt at ruining his reputation. Weckerly however, has stated the Cowboys bullied her into keeping quiet on the assault and that Jones made her sign non-disclosure agreement.


5. The Cops are Involved

Due to the seriousness of the lawsuit and claim, law enforcement must now be involved for what Dalrymple is saying are nothing more than “baseless allegation”.
