In the 2017 incarnation of the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, the 14th-ranked Auburn Tigers (8-4) face the seventh-ranked Big 12 champion Oklahoma Sooners (10-2). The Sooners come in as a very slight favorite, mostly due to the fact that Oklahoma is definitely much stronger on offense than it is on defense.

Auburn is nearly the polar opposite, as the Tigers have been strong defensively all season but have struggled to put points on the board.
