WATCH LIVE: Westminster Attack With Multiple People Injured

Reports from the ground indicate that as many as 12 people are injured while Prime Minister Theresa May is said to be okay following an attack which took place in-and-around the Houses of Parliament in London on March 22.

The assailant, who has not been identified, was shot by police officers. The suspect’s condition is unknown. Officers were first called to the scene at around 2:40 p.m. GMT, 10:40 a.m. Eastern time. The London Metropolitan police is treating the attack as a “terrorist incident until [They] know otherwise.”

A Car Has Mowed Down Pedestrians Along Westminster Bridge

There are also reports of a car mowing down pedestrians on the nearby Westminster Bridge. It has not been confirmed if the two incidents are related. Conservative MP David Lidington told ITV that there had been “further violent incidents in the vicinity.” He also said that an air ambulance has been called to the scene “to remove the casualties.”


A Police Officer Has Been Stabbed

The officer’s condition, nor his identity, have been revealed. The Metropolitan Police tweeted that armed police are on the scene “dealing with the incident.”

The Prime Minister Was ‘Bundled Into a Car Amid Gunfire’

ITV reports that Prime Minister Theresa May was “bundled” in a silver Jaguar car amid “gunfire.” It was later confirmed that May was back at 10 Downing Street.
