Andy Murray starts his bid for a second US Open title and third Grand Slam Tuesday in the prime time slot at Arthur Ashe Stadium with a First Round match-up against Australian bad-boy / asshole (delete as you see fit) Nick Kyrgios. Murray comes to Flushing Meadow in fine form, having beaten Novak Djokovic in the final of the Rogers Cup in Montreal and reached the semi final of the Cincinnati Masters, and while Kyrgios is by no means an ideal First Round opponent, the Scot has beaten his Australian counterpart in each of their previous three encounters without dropping a set.

Elsewhere, Roger Federer plays Argentine Leonardo Meyer earlier on Arthur Ashe, while French Open champion Stan Wawrinka is the late show in the Louis Armstrong stadium, with the Swiss facing unseeded Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas.
