The Capitol Fourth celebration, airing on PBS, is still in full effect tonight though other shows in the Washington D.C. area are being postponed because of rain. The National Mall fireworks are still running as scheduled, according to WTOP, but others have been delayed. College Park, Maryland is moving their fireworks to Tuesday evening; Gaithersburg, Maryland rescheduled their display to Friday the 8th; the Buddy Attick Park fireworks will take place tomorrow on Tuesday night; Frederick, Maryland will not have their fireworks celebration until the 24th of July; and Poolesville, Maryland has canceled it show with no rain date set.
