Chattanooga (26-7) and Furman (22-11) collide in Southern Conference championship action on Monday, March 7, to earn a spot in the championship game.

The game (7 p.m. ET start time) will be televised on ESPN. But if you don’t have cable, here are some different ways you can watch a live stream of Furman vs Chattanooga online:

Furman vs Chattanooga Preview

The top two seeds in the Southern Conference tournament collide for title on Monday.

Top seed Chattanooga seeks its first NCAA tournament appearance since 2016 and 12th overall. The Mocs beat the Citadel 71-66 on March 5 in the quarterfinals and Wofford 79-56 in the semifinals on Sunday to advance.

No. 2 seed Furman looks to end a 41-year NCAA tournament drought. The Paladins last made the Big Dance in 1980. Furman had 25-win teams in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 but fell short of making the tournament.

The Paladins edged Samford 71-68 on Sunday in the semifinals after beating Mercer 80-66 in the quarterfinals on March 5. Jalen Slawson led the Paladins with 17 points in the semifinal win.

Slawson scored 20 or more points in Furman’s losses to Chattanooga during the regular season. The Mocs won the first meeting 71-69 on Jan. 15 despite 22 points from Slawson. Chattanooga took the second game 64-58 on Feb. 12 despite 24 points and eight rebounds by Slawson.

Malachi Smith gave Furman trouble in those matchups. Smith led the Mocs with 21 points and nine rebounds in the first meeting. That included a game-tying layup in the final minute and free throws to ice the game. The sophomore guard scored 20 points and dished seven assists in the second meeting.

Smith leads the Mocs in scoring with 20.4 points. He also averages 6.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.7 steals.

David Jean-Baptiste posts 14.7 points per contest for the Mocs, and he’s a danger at the free-throw line with an 86.2% clip. The senior guard also averages 2.3 assists, 1.2 steals, and 2.1 rebounds.

Kansas transfer Silvio De Sousa has been a spark for the Mocs this season with 10.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game. The 6-foot-9 senior forward leads the team in shooting percentage at 56.8% overall.

Furman’s Mike Bothwell leads the Paladins in scoring with 15.4 points per night. The senior guard also averages  four rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

Slawson scores 14.7 points per game for second on the team. The senior forward also grabs 7.5 rebounds, dishes 3.8 assists, garners 1.8 steals, and posts 1.7 blocks per night.

Paladins senior guard Alex Hunter averages 13.5 points with 41.4% shooting from three-point range. Hunter also posts 2.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.
