A piece of an airplane has been found wedged between two buildings in lower Manhattan. It appears to be a landing gear, and investigators are saying that it’s one of the gears from a plane used in the 9/11 terror attacks, reports ABC News.
The piece was located wedged between of 51 Park Place and the building directly behind it at 50 Murray Street, in lower Manhattan, according to the NYPD.
The aircraft piece will remain in place until health and safety protocols are carried out by the health departments, reports ABC.
