September 10th could be a big day for Apple. Tim Cook’s company is set to unveil their new set of iPhones, dubbed “iPhone 5S” and “iPhone 5C.” This is timed perfectly to prepare the phones for an official winter release. However, new reports indicate that Apple may want to use that day as a launch platform for all of their products.
In a story done by Bloomberg Business News about Apple’s new store in Tokyo, a brief paragraph mentions that the Silicon Valley legend will reveal the rumored iPad 5:
Apple, based in Cupertino, California, plans to introduce new versions of its phone and tablet at a Sept. 10 event, a person familiar with the matter has said, and the company promised “several more game changers” in the product pipeline as it tries to fend off Samsung Electronics Co. and Chinese makers selling cheaper handsets.
While this is a small mention, Bloomberg reported this same thing in another article last week.
These are just small details but could turn out to be true. One of the selling points of the rumored “iPad 5” is that its supposed to essentially be a replica of the iPad Mini. Most of the prominent rumors have revolved around Apple testing out larger screens on the tablet but nothing is still confirmed. Originally, the pads were projected for a winter release with a refurbished iOS 7 attached to it. Despite that, this could be part of Apple’s strategy to successfully sell all of their new products as rivals line up release dates to reveal their next set of tech for a new year.
